Interessanti le sequele legali del matrimonio.

Le leggi americane in certe cose sono ancora plantigrade: non si riuscirebbe a trovare la via legale per nominare erede universale il cellulare. Deve o meno pagare le tasse di successione? Necessita o meno di un amministratore di sostegno? Se sì, non avrebbe potuto sposarsi, ma la Costituzione invece lo permette. Se ne occuperà la Corte Suprema.

Similmente, non sembrerebbe che si sia ancora riusciti a trovare la via con cui accreditare gli assegni familiari, visto che il cellulare non guadagna, non ha reddito da capitali ed ha soltanto spese.

Prevedibili quindi cause di inadempienza nei confronti dell’Amministrazione, che verosimilmente dovrà pagare i danni e riparare. E con i diritti gay i tribunali americani hanno l mano ben pesante.

Last month, Aaron Chervenak of Los Angeles married his cellphone in a ceremony at the Little Vegas Chapel.

The chapel owner says he’s married a lot of strange couples.

But as Michael Kelly explains, Chervenak wanted to make a point about how dependent people are on their phones.

“People are so connected to their phones and they live with them all the time. They’re with them 24 hours a day. They go to sleep with their cellphones. They wake up with their cellphones. Sometimes, it’s the first thing that they check,” said Kelly.

Luckily, the union, unlike a cellphone provider’s contract, is nonbinding.
